Hi! So, this is a brand new journey for me. Photography has always been a hobby of mine & I've always "thought" about turning it into something more.... I even thought about applying to The Brooks Institute of Photography back in the day.... Wow. That place is gorgeous, but not what I was ready for... So, I went on & ended up getting my MSW from CSUF... & i LOVE it.
I moved to Texas from Southern California back in 2010 & have been in Central Texas since... In June 2013, I found CrossFit at CrossFit UvU... & I LOVE it... I am officially addicted to it. I believe I have made more friends in the four months I've been a member, than in the 2 yrs I've lived in Texas.... CrossFit is awesome. Can't say anything else about it.
So, last night, I got a text and was asked to photograph a baby shower & i was like ... Ummm... Sure... & then my sister & I got talking, and this is how Millie Grace Photography came about... My sister & I have always talked about starting photography as a business for me, however, I'm not in this as a "business"... I'm more in this for fun, to photograph people/places/things & to support my photography, CrossFit, traveling hobbies...
Who is Millie Grace? Millie & Grace are my Grandma's... 2 very important people to me, 2 people who are completely different & the same .... 2 people who have supported me in everything. I know that if Grams (Millie) was still here & knew I was doing this, she would be asking when she could schedule something... I've still got my Grandma (Grace) here & once this thing actually gets started ... she'll support it as well :)
