#Barbells4Boobs aka The #PinkBraTour

On October 5, 2013 The #PinkBraTour came to Central Texas ... What is the Pink Bra Tour? It's a charity organization known as Barbells for Boobs.. This is an organization that is raising money through the CrossFit community. Participants raise money through completing a workout known as Grace..(this link will have the CrossFit definition/explanation of GRACE on their FAQs). What is Grace? Grace is lifting the barbell w/the weight you can lift (mine was 55#s) from the ground to above your head and back, 30 times. The Central Texas Cross Fit Community, so far has raised $24,115 to help low income or under-insured men & women obtain mamograms, help identify breast cancer early & help fight it! Here are some of the photographs I took at the event:

One of the things about CrossFit, is the support. Once someone is done w/their WOD (Work Out of the Day), they begin to cheer on the next person & so forth, that way, the last person to complete the WOD, isn't doing it alone, they have EVERYONE cheering them on... Just like this photograph shows :)

Teri & Kevin's Wedding 9/2008

In 2008, my cousin Teri Nannie got married to Kevin... It was a gorgeous ceremony in Fallbrook, CA & everyone had a blast, here are a few photos from that day/night:

Rusty at the Dog Park

Yesterday, after the baby shower, i went & got a new lense. A Tamron that has a zoom from 18-200mm... The bad thing, is I went to a camera store & saw ALL the Nikon things I want... When I used to work at CAI cameras, I had a check list of items I wanted... Since I haven't worked there in forever, I had forgotten about it... The good thing about it, is I found a camera store in Central Texas :)

So, yesterday, I took #RustyDog to the #CentralTexasBarkPark & tried out my lense... Here are a few pictures:

My "1st Wedding"

Today, I was able to photograph a baby shower. Not just any baby shower, but Chelsea's baby shower for her FIRST little boy :) Here are a few from today :)

The girl who did the decorating was amazing... The company is called Swoon Vintage Rentals

So, they're having a little boy.. & they've named him Nate :)
