I went out and explored parts of #SouthernCalifornia and asked random people what they thought made America great? Here are their photos and a summary (not quotes) of their answers:

These three Marines shared different stories about what they think makes America great. One shared how there are opportunities for everyone who is willing to work for them. Another shared that America is great because they're able to chose to give up their liberty in order for others to have theirs.
Mr. Hollywood shared about his life. His mother died when he was 6 and he was homeless as a child. As an adult, he has been married for 40 years and has worked in the entertainment industry. He shared that America is great because of the life he has been able to live.
He shared that what makes America great, is our "system." He acknowledged that our system needs to change in some ways, but when you compare it to other countries, it is the best option that is out there.
He shared that America is great because of our "great Military"
He shared that America is great because of American's and our freedoms.
She shared that America is great because of all the opportunities to go to school and to work.
He shared that what makes America great, is the many opportunities that are out there
She shared that what makes America great is our "freedoms"
She shared that what makes America great is being able to pick up the phone and order pizza at any time of the day or night.
#WhatMakesAmericaGreat may be different to every individual. However, every individual can agree that #AmericaIsAlreadyGreat.
